Day 42

cwigley1

January 20 - Scenic Cruising

We had some rough waters overnight - the ship was doing a lot of rocking and rolling after leaving the protect of the Fjords late yesterday and heading out to the Pacific Ocean to work our way north.

It was still rough this morning when we got up but it calmed down quite a bit when the Captain entered another area of the Chilean Fjords. The winds were high enough all day that most of the outer decks were closed.

Not many glaciers today - but some beuatiful scenery even though it was overcast and raining most of the day.

We had a meeting this morning to give us information on out upcoming excursion to Machu Pichu- we’ll be headed there in another week.

After that it was mainly laundry and relaxing.

We are back our at sea tonight - not as rough as last night but not smooth sailing either.

Tomorrow is supposed to be some more Chilean Fjords!
